Hi! I’m Emily, a concept artist and illustrator with over a decade of experience spanning concept art, illustration, traditional and digital painting, photography and graphic design. Since 2019, I’ve worked professionally across the film, TV, and video games industries contributing to various projects including big-budget movies, AAA games, indie projects and short films. My credits include work on productions from Marvel Studios, Disney, Lucasfilm, Netflix, Paramount and more.

I began my career at Industrial Light & Magic, starting as an art assistant before stepping into my first concept art role. Working alongside some of the industry's best, I honed my skills in concept design, composition, storytelling and problem-solving while learning to adapt in a fast-paced production environment. In 2023, I transitioned to freelancing and have since contributed to projects with Intermission Film, Dream Harvest, Supermassive Games, and various other clients in the entertainment industry. Alongside my professional work, I’m passionate about supporting aspiring artists and volunteer as an e-mentor; guiding and advising students and emerging talent.

Beyond concept art, my multidisciplinary background has led me to collaborate on illustration and design projects for authors, magazines, podcast productions and charities. I also create private commissions including digital pieces and physical oil and acrylic paintings. My skill set spans both 2D and 3D, covering digital painting, keyframe illustration, environment and character design, matte painting and visual development; including pre and post production. I incorporate 3D techniques such as modelling, texturing, kitbashing and rendering utilising programs such as Blender, zBrush and Marvelous Designer in my main workflow. My background in photography and graphic design further strengthens my understanding of composition, mood and storytelling.

In 2016 I gained a BA in Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster and still enjoy taking photos in my spare time. Alongside arts and crafts, you’ll find me exploring the beautiful landscapes around where I currently reside in Devon, scribbling in my sketchbook, travelling, cooking or baking something delicious, roller skating or diving into a new video game.
